BAKTI DESA 2019

Bakti Desa 2019

From 3 to 5 January 2019. The 11th grader of 3 National HighSchool went to Desa Cibereum to do a program called 'Bakti Desa' that held by school. This is an annual event. This program was made by school to teach the student how to live in the village, and knowing what the villager's habbits and activities.

I'm in one house with Azka, Dinda, and Nabilah. We get a very kind family, their cok are so delicious. The mother is a housewife, her husband is a gardener, and they had 4 kids. We stay at 1 of their child house, we called her 'Teteh', Teteh is a teacher in an elementary school in the village, she is so kind. 

On the second day, we went to teteh's father garden, the garden is pretty far from the house, so we had to take a long walk. There, he taught us how to plant a carrot, potatoes, and many other plants. He shares his experiences in gardening, from that, we know how long we have to wait until the plants harvest, and how much money he earn from his plants.

Bakdes is one of the most memorable experience. Altough the family's cook are very simple, it is very good and delicious, my favorite cook is Ubi and Fried Chicken, and also the 'Sambal' tastes so good. In Desa Cibereum, we had a very beautiful view, like mountains, and upstream of the citarum river. 

On the last day, me and my classmates and Pak Hendi went to Situ Cileunca. We went there by using 'Kolbak'. Situ Cileunca had a beautiful view. Me and my friends ride a boat there, and also we took some pictures. We had so much fun there

From that, me and my friends conclude that in the future, wi would like to make Desa Cibereum a better village by giving good facilities on their school. We also want to build a hospital, and many other things.

We hope our dreams come true.
